i almost died today
So, we're coming home from hartford this morning. actually we weren't even out of hartford yet, heading towards 84 on Asylum st. when all of a sudden i hear sirens and everything in front of me stops. and a black car comes flying down the other side of the street, and it's hood is crushed in. it's only then that i notice there's a cop car riding into it, pushing it towards our lane, and inevitably, my jeep. i have about two feet before the curb, so i pull over as far as i can, and start praying (i know, god just kinda chuckled). the cop and the car both went past us, barely, and i thought it was over. nope, the dude tagged a car at the intersection right behind us and came barreling back down towards us again. thankfully he wasn't as close this time, but the maybe fifth cruiser was, and i almost cried. he missed me, but hit the moron causing this shit and he spun out and finally stopped. then every officer jumped out of their cruisers with guns drawn, and mind you this is about five feet in front of us. it was at this point where i kinda slowly maneuvered my way out of there in reverse. i kinda wanted to stay and see if they beat the shit out of him, but i didn't want to get any stray fire my way.
seriously though, who causes that kind of shit at 9:30 in the morning?! my heart doesn't need that kind of stress that early in the day.
