[There's a bit of shuffling, some grass obscuring the open journal's camera. All is quiet for a little while.

Suddenly, a somewhat shaken (though the emotion is well-disguised) and likely familiar voice calls out over the journals:]

...Is anyone from Brave Vesperia still here?

[Judith can be found leaning against a tree near the western edge of ( Read more... )

[She's back. She's back. Just when he was almost done forcing himself to accept that her being back home was for the best, too. Not like he really cares about that 'hard work' anymore, especially right now. And if she's asking about Brave Vesperia, then--]

Yeah ... We're still here, Judy.

[Please hold while she adjusts to this, Yuri. She kind of just watched you fall to your possible death.]

[Looks like they've got a lot to talk about, then. ... Even if that's a bit of a given anyway.]

... I'll keep the door open, then.

[She'd make a joke about the door always being broken, but now's not really the time or the place :|;; Off she goes for House Vesperia- she should be there pretty soon.]

[When she gets there, she'll see the door open already, like he said it'd be. As for Yuri, he's inside, leaning against the wall-space near the front door for the time being.]

[Judith heads right in, shutting the door behind her and glancing up to get a good look at him. How's he fared since she disappeared? She has no idea how long it's been, and her memories of Luceti are still coming back.

...Did everything she can recall really happen...?]

[Once she's in the house and looking over at him, he can't help but smile, even if there's a ton of questions coming to mind all at once. For all he knows, she only remembers a few things. It was never stated anywhere that people who remembered things remembered everything -- at least not that he's noticed.

... Regardless, he won't find anything out just by staring at her, so he speaks up.]

Hey. ... Welcome back. [Sure, it's not the best place to be welcomed back to ... but still.]

[Well... he's smiling. That's a good sign. She steps up to stand before him, hands shifting a little at her sides (is she supposed to hug him? Does she want to hug him? She remembers liking it, but it's been a long time and she has no idea what she's missed and a smile doesn't mean everything's fine-) before finally clasping together at her back. A nice, neutral position. She needs more time to think about this.

Something very special happened between them in this place, and she remembers it, but... it's all so surreal.

And she's missing something.]

...Thank you. [She's never felt so awkward before. What do you say to someone who was your lover in what feels like another life?

Something nice. Say something nice, he's smiling at her. When's the last time she saw Yuri really smile?]

I must admit I'm relieved to see the house still in one piece.

[Just as he figured -- she looks a bit awkward about all this. And if even that much is showing, that feeling is probably a hell of a lot more than just "a bit". He's not surprised though. It's still better than her coming into Luceti with no prior memories at all, as far as he's concerned. Still, he can't even imagine how weird it must be on her side, especially if she's been home for a long time.

Regardless, he shrugs a little at her comment, looking off to the side.]

It was a little tough to keep everything going as normal, but we managed. It was only a week, anyway.

...A week? That's all? [It's... a relief, in some small way, but at the same time, unbelievably alarming. Such a small amount of time had passed, but for her, so much had happened...

Something occurs to her, then, distracting her from the fact that holy shit one week, and she can't help but ask.]

...When you arrived last year, what was the last thing that had happened for you?

Yeah. [And there's a short pause at her question. Not like he's forgotten -- he's just trying to figure out how to word it, really.]

Last thing that happened ... We'd just taken down Alexei. I fell from Zaude shortly afterward and blacked out. [Looking back at her now. He's figuring she'll just give him her own answer without him having to ask, so he's holding off on doing so for now.]

Zaude... really. [Ah... that's a little too convenient, isn't it?

...Well, who is she to look a gift horse in the mouth? Convenience or not, it changes quite a bit for the both of them, and for the first time, it's in a good way. So she smiles at last.]

I think we've been given a better chance this time.

[He looks slightly confused at that for a moment, but that confusion goes away quickly -- it wasn't hard to piece together what she meant by that. He gives her a fairly relieved smile in response.]

... Heh. I guess we couldn't have bad luck forever.

Maybe my good fortune is finally rubbing off on you.

[It's good to see him smiling again, it really is. When she'd first awoken here, she hadn't really known what to expect. For all she knew, it could've been months since she left, or even longer- Yuri could've been gone as well, or forgotten all about her, or... well, she herself could have had her memories taken like so many others, and what would happen to Jonah, then?

It's a little frightening, knowing how close you stand to the edge of something much worse.]

It's about time. Maybe the door will stay in one piece from now on, too.

[It's not as if the mood really needs to be lightened, but it's better that it tip further in that direction than the other. Even if the time difference of "one week on this side, months on hers" will make things awkward for a while, it's still so much better than anything else that could've happened, that's for certain.]
