[Tired Krityan is tired, and while Sora helped her get back to the village, she doesn't really want to go further than she has to.]

Stella- and Svala, if you're still there- are you alright? I'd like to bring Jonah home.

...Yuri...

...

Is everyone alright?

[She's not too sure of what to say beyond that- she just wants to make sure he's safe, ( Read more... )

... Judy? Judy, where are you?

[He wasn't out looking all over the place when he found out she wasn't in the village, no way ...]

[Oh hi there, lover boy. Judith can tell he's worried, so she does her best to keep her voice level. She's relieved that he's alright, though.]

I'm at home.

Alright ... I'll be there soon. [And he's heading home now. He's way too relieved to bother being upset about her lying to him before, but you're not out of the woods completely, Judy.]

[She doesn't expect to be out of trouble for a while, but all things considered, she really doesn't give a damn. To her, it was worth it.

She's sitting on the porch steps, leaning her side against one of the support posts to keep pressure off her back. Her one wing's folded behind her, mostly out of sight.]

[A good ten to fifteen minutes later, Yuri finally nears the house. And he doesn't need to be up close to her in order to tell that she's not doing too well. Still, from the angle he's approaching, he can't see the severed wing just yet.

After walking over and standing in front of her, he stays quiet for a moment, trying to figure out what to say. "How badly hurt are you?" "You didn't have to lie, I would've understood." "Don't do that again.".]

... Do you want to stay out here, or should I help you inside?

[Judith sits up as he approaches, acknowledging him, but remaining quiet while he sorted out his own head. She could probably guess at least part of what he wanted to say to her, anyway.]

Just let me rest here a little longer. Jonah is still at Stella's house- I need to get him.

[nods] Alright. I'll go with you when you're ready.

[With that, he walks over to the steps and sits near Judith -- not too close, since she could probably use the breathing room right now -- and looks her over, taking note of any inju--

..........

... Alright, it looks like it's already been treated and she doesn't sound like she's about to drop dead, so that keeps him from flipping kittens over her missing wing. Still, even if he isn't exactly thrilled with this new development, getting upset with Judith isn't going to magically bring it back to normal, so he looks away and tries to keep his tone flat.]

... Are you sure you should be going anywhere with an injury like that?

[She'd expected him to notice, so she lifts her shoulders in a slight shrug, looking away as well.]

I left him with Stella so I could fight. I owe him this, at least.

[She doesn't really want him to worry about her, and the only way to prove she's alright is to act like everything's normal. She just needed to muster the strength to walk over there.]

[He's not completely buying the "Eh, missing wing, no biggie" act, but he already knows she's not dying or anything, so he'll back off on the fretting. She seems well enough, anyway, so there's no need to be overbearing.] ... I see.

[pause]

You didn't have to lie to me, you know. I wouldn't have stopped you. [That he says with a lighter, less serious tone. He's annoyed that she said one thing and did something completely different, but ... well, considering he's the same way and would probably do the same thing, he understands. He's grumpy about it, especially since she got hurt, but he understands.]

[She does glance sidelong at him for that one, and after a moment she offers him a musing smile.]

...But you understand why I did.

Yeah ... Doesn't make me any happier about it, but I get why you did it.

...I'm sorry for making you angry, then. [She's not sorry for what she did, though, since she'd quite enjoyed herself up until the wing-chopping.]

[Yeah, he doesn't expect an apology for what she did at all. Regardless, he shakes his head a little in response.] It's fine. Just try not to do that again when something that big is going on. ['Try' is there for a reason, since he knows she probably will do something like this again at some point. That's just how she is, after all.]

[She closes her eyes, nodding slightly. Then, after a moment, shifts to lean on him instead of the wall. She needs a bath, she needs a change of clothes, she needs her son home again, all her friends safe and sound.

But right now she needs him.]

[With that, Yuri slowly wraps an arm around her waist, keeping her close. Even if he's still a bit miffed about the whole thing, the relief that comes from knowing she's safe and by his side pretty much cancels that out. Really, he could care less about what she did -- he's just glad she's alright.]

[This is nice, much nicer than any kind of lecture or anger- she hadn't been sure whether or not to expect those. But this? Definitely preferable. And she lifts a hand to grasp his, squeezing lightly, trying to let him know how glad she is to see him safe, as well.]
