Hehe... I'm not sad on any bride-related things. In fact quite the opposite. The wedding planning is moving along swimmingly and super easily. I'm not, in fact, entirely sure why people get stressed over this stuff. You find people you like, you give them money, they perform a service, done. /shrug
But the other night I went to a Christina Aguilera concert... which may seem a bit off for me, but I've come to realize I'm more interested in a persons abilities than their reputation... and boy does she have an amazing voice, not even mentioning the power she put into her amazing stage show.
So she does the entire show, and the final two songs were Beautiful (the video above), and Fighter (the video below). She came out on stage during Beautiful, alone without much fanfare and started singing it. When she got to the chorus, the entire hockey stadium started singing it and she didn't even have to. It was powerful, and moving... and made me relive all the times in my life that have made me what I am today, through struggle, hardship, heartbreak, and triumph. Fighter just pressed that point home afterward...
So it was emotional... and thought provoking and made me do some soul searching. It was good. Not sad in that sad kind of way, just... tearful would probably be a better word for it.
