So busy season has officially begun... well that's an understatement really, it began about 2-3 weeks ago when I was momentarily unemployed, but it's in full swing and I'm already losing sleep trying to keep up. It always amuses me when people tell me I should go to bed, but they don't realize that it doesn't matter how much sleep I get, it's generally restless and bad sleep and I wake up more tired then when I laid my head down upon my pillows. So I think to myself, why bother? Sometimes the concept of sleep just seems a little useless. Busy season is definitely one of those times. It's really more of the stress that makes me tired and unable to sleep... so it can't be helped just from getting more sleep. I slept in until noon on Sunday and was still completely wiped out the entire day. Ah well...
One more thing crossed off my list of To Do's. Brie, if you have questions, feel free to ask. I don't want you confused. There's a spiffy little guide I found on the IRS website that you should read through if you have the patience. Go here and read it... might clear some things up. Feel free to ask me questions after reading it if things are unclear too:
http://www.irs.gov/publications/p583/index.html MN is a definite at the moment. Things are looking like they'll be moving along swimmingly. I'm working on packing up the house, getting RR's stuff all together for him to come and pick up in one fell swoop (which is not ready yet but working on it), filing, cleaning, fixing a few odds and ends that need fixing, and basically just crossing things off my list. It feels good to mark another item off the list. So far I think I've managed to do at least one thing a day... even if it wasn't written on the list, the mental list is longer than the actual written one. So far so good ^_^.
Wrote to the scuba instructor over at Univ. of MN. We're supposed to meet when I go out for a week in May (Memorial Weekend and the week following). I asked if he needed help in teaching the class and he said he'd love to meet me and discuss it, but that they're always looking for help. So it appears I may be diving again ^_^!!! HOORAY!!! That excites me sooo much. Well... after I get some sleep it will excite me. No diving on lack of sleep. Tends to lead to stupid mistakes. But the nice thing will be that it's an indoor pool, so at least I won't have to deal with freezing cold pool days anymore. Huzzah!
May work on taking some dance lessons too :). I think I want to learn the Argentinian Tango... sexxy ;)
Oh, and for anyone missing KROQ that moved off... they've got live web streaming now. You can listen to it all from far far away :). It's what gets me through the day at work...
