What a difference a day (or pedicure) can make!
Well it looks like the gloomy girl has brightened up. Because I'm one that doesn't like to remain sad, I had made a pedicure appt yesterday for today. MMM how nice it feels to have your toes soak in warm swirling water. Then, to see the girl massage the lavish lotion and finally the polish...a nice festive red ("I'm not a waitress" by OPI). Yes, I'm a girl and love being one.
Hubbie is enjoying being the lumberjack he always thought of being when we decided to move out here. We got a cord of wood delivered last night but the pieces are rather large. So, he has been splitting the pieces since 9:30 this morning. What a man! Well, he's a hell of a man outside but please let's not start talking about how the kitchen looked when I got home from the pedicure. Yuck!
I also got the truck a quick car wash. Man, do I miss the larger car washes we had back home. Yes, I still call it home. I dont know if I'll ever call any other place home - we'll see.
Well I'm off to do other things around the house. Happy Holidays!
