Been a while
But I figured I would post a quick update.
I finished MIT! Commencement is on Friday. I am super-stoked.
I am going to go to graduate school for Physics at UC Santa Barbara, the most beautiful place ever. Maybe I will become a surfer bum or something. Probably. I am aiming for a Ph.D., so I will one day fulfill my destiny to be Dr. Pepper. I will mainly be working as an research assistant for this one professor, though I will also need to TA at least once or twice. Muahahaha. Power! Over miserable undergrads! MUAHAHAHA.
Over the summer, I will be working with said professor in the Netherlands, at Leiden University. Also he is paying for my flight. And my housing. This is pretty damned cool. Hopefully I will be able to find some time to get out and explore, get up to Amsterdam, go to the Hague, etc. Dutch is an exceptionally silly language. Mijn naam is Brian. Waar is het toilet? Het douche is kapot. Spreekt u Engels? Ik bloedt, ik bloedt!
Maryland folks: I'll be back late on June 7th, and I'll be around until June 26th. We should hang out, because after that I will be in town a lot less than I have been. California is sort of far away, and I miss you all.
