boring update
I haven't too much to report. Friday I went to Smith to the Dance Library for my independent study. I discovered several things: 1) there is no full-length copy of "Le Corsaire" (a classical ballet) in all 5 colleges, so I had to order one; 2) There are a couple documentaries on "La Bayadere;" 3) La Bayadere is based on an Indian poem. I watched one documentary which explained Don Quixote very well but didn't really go into La Baydere, and it turned out the other one on Bayadere is in French, so that had to wait for another day. Saturday I watched La Bayadere with Adam, and that evening I was in Rocky as Columbia opposite Adam, which was really nice. I tried wearing the new bustier over my tube top, and it stayed on but didn't look too good. I think I have figured out a way to reconstruct my old bustier so that I won't have to start from scratch. Sunday, not much happened. Today a guest teacher came for my Merging Minds and Motion class. He teaches art in prisons. I thought it would be really interesting, and the teacher made us all prepare three questions so he wouldn't feel on his own, but he just talked on and ON inCESSantly for the whole period and didn't answer questions. It was very boring.
