encore le update
So...basically I spent all weekend with Adam. Thursday we went to Applebee's for dinner and he ran into a friend of his from high school. They had a really long, entertaining conversation--most of which I did not quite understand--but it was much fun listening to them. And the girl thinks I'm adorable and so on. (::score!::) She's a dancer too and seemed to really want to keep in contact with him/us and possibly dance with me some time or something. This is good because my tapping could use a lot of work and that's sort of her forte, and I can help her get back into ballet maybe. Anyway, then we saw "Rent." Yes, on World AIDS Day. I thought it was extremely appropriate. For those of you who have not seen the movie, it's really really good. I have never seen the show but I have listened to it and they kept almost all the songs. Most of the leads were from the musical. Plus it was just a well-done musical film. I think probably the fact that Robert Altman either directed or produced it might have had something to do with how kickass it was. After the movie, Adam and I came back here and he slept with me.
The next day being a day off for him, we slept in and did nothing all day long but watch tv and movies and cuddle...and occasionally eat. Saturday we did the same thing until the afternoon, when Adam went back home. We went to Rocky and picked up our calendars, which came out really well. My picture actually looked amazing, and I couldn't stop staring at it because I was sure it wasn't me. I look thin and toned in the picture, you don't understand! Anyway, the show was a little off. The whole night almost everyone was like 2 seconds late on their movements and gestures, and one of the follow spots kept collapsing right behind me. It wouldn't lock or something. After the show we ended up going to the diner. I was very tired but managed not to fall asleep. Came back with Adam, went to bed at like 5am. Sunday we slept in again and had lunch with Sarah. We came back and sort of had a long nap and Adam stayed into the evening and decided to sleep with me again, and he left this morning.
Now starts my finals stretch. Tomorrow is my last lab, and I have a short paper for that. Wednesday I need to hand in my modern papers and get my Medieval art history presentation ready, for Thursday. Then the next thing I have is my Islam art paper for next Wednesday, and then finally my Geology final exam and my Medieval art history final paper.
I get to go with Adam to WMPE on Wednesday, Narnia on Friday, and play Columbia on Saturday and Magenta next week. I need to buy/make Christmas presents and mail out cards. I have a beautiful boyfriend to cuddle with. So apart from the deluge of coursework, life is mostly good. p.s. I love Adam :)
