I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journals, or we have something else in common, and we chat occasionally. Many of you I see in real life. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me, and I thank you for your interest in my words.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they enjoy the savory aroma of monkey brains a la mode."

Also, I am thinking of doing another friends cut, because almost all of my entries for like a year now have been open to only my custom friends list, and I feel bad because people not on the list haven't heard from me. If you haven't read many entries lately (can you not read this?), you are probably not on the special list and I will probably unfriend you. This applies mostly to people I have not seen in a long time or never knew that well to begin with. I don't hate you, I just have lost touch and don't feel comfortable putting you on the special list because of the content of many of my entries. If you think you are not on the special list but would desperately like to be, please reply and tell me why briefly and I will consider it.
