A Note
Taped to Jack and James' cabin door while James and Chase were out;
Jack, obviously, is nowhere to be found. Also missing are the rusty, battered, falling-apart-any-day-now sword that usually hung by James', the legendary compass, and Jack's ancient, cracked leather tricorn. A handful of hundred dollar bills, usually hidden behind a light fixture, have disappeared as well.
It would appear that Jack has done a runner.
