Busy weekend. Not much since..

I think my Mum's birthday went pretty well. Maybe not completely according to plan, but it was still a good day.
In the morning I DID make her a black tea and crumpets with Nutella on them.
Then we met Karen around 11am. Not at 'Bruno's Truffles' (because it wasn't open) but at the nice bakery next door for morning tea.
Next we went to my grandparents house for lunch. That was pleasant. It was good to finally see my grandfather after the accident. His right arm was in a sling, and and his left hand was in a cast. That might seem pretty bad, but at least he is doing much better than before. Now he can feed himself and move quite a bit and talk. He said that it still hurts to move sometimes, and he can't quite do everything by himself just yet.
After a few hours there we went to Anne's house. My mums friends Lisa and Mel were there, and Anne's young daughter, and one of her friends. I think mum had a good time. She doesn't get to see these friends very often. And I had a good time too. I get to see them even less often, and I had a good time with the kids too.
We didn't end up playing hockey. We went to the hockey centre.. And then.. Went home. We were both to tired to play. And by then it was getting a little cold.
It was still a very busy day.

Not much has happened since then.
This week has been test week at school. I spent most of the week in bed, sick and sleeping. On Monday and Tuesday I didn't have any classes or tests, so that was fine. On Wednesday and Thursday I had AST Trials, which I missed. And then today (Friday) I pulled myself out of bed. Got to school 10 minutes before my first class ENDED, and then had the rest of the day off. I wasn't too happy. I could have stayed in bed another day. After my first class my next two classes were cancelled because my teacher wasn't there, then I had a double free, and my last class for the day was cancelled as well (same teacher [*cough*NEIL*cough*] wasn't there).. Oh well. I went to Civic and saw my friends (some friends that either still had tests at their school and didn't have any tests to do themselves, and some friends that don't go to school anymore).

school, neil, ast, mum, birthday, civic
