Another new creation.
I made a hat today, and it was a pain in my ruffly butt. I cut it out wrong, then the wire broke my machine needle, and so on. It's kind of silly looking, but I like it. I'll do better next time, though.
As for the jacket, I finished it in one day, though I've been making additions since then. Unfortunately, the fabric isn't showing up too well, but it's the same goldxcream stripe stuff that the hat is made of. Also, the sleeves and cuffs are giant, and the whole thing was too big, and I had to make adjustments. I really can't trust pattern sizing anymore, because things always end up over-sized.
I will probably post close-up photos later, to show all the details that can't be seen in these pictures, like the cute gold sailor buttons. :3
P.s. This is what I was going to wear to the meet-up on Saturday, minus the hat.
