My girl lollipop

Today Lollipop (lauratakeabow) and I went here. It's in The Fax, and it's really nice. I went once, YEARS ago, with mah dad, but never since. It was cool. We particularly liked the book shop and the nice man in there (Laura bought James Joyce and ummm Henry someone) and I bought a poetry anthology.

I bought a bottle of Tayberry wine, and feel I could really get into fruit wines, especially red ones. And I don't like red wine. I also bought some stamps, like collecting stamps. I like stamps anyway (used to collect 'em) but I really like using them in my journal. No paricular reason, I just think it's cool. Anyway she had a mixed 'surprise' bag, and the Cuban stamps at the front appealed to me, so I bought them, and then mentioned that I used them for 'craft'. Well that was the magic word because she gave me an enveloped stuffed full of stamps free; they're slight seconds or not worth anything, therefore have no commercial value. Wooo for free stuff!

(Anyone want any stamps for their journal?)

Laura and I speak a language very different from anyone else. Innit, b? I'm sure you'd understand some of it but we've known each other so long we have in jokes going back years. Most of them I couldn't even start to explain. That's love, innit. I loves me Lollipops.

After The Fax we went for a hair raising drive round Heptonstall, whereupon I stalled on a hill (Ciara/Niamh, remember how I did at Castle Hill? Well it was just like that - I told Laura to stop laughing because it would be her getting out to push). My driving skillz = da shit, liek rly.

Anyway we eventually arrived in Sowerby Bridge where we partook of a particularly nice afternoon tea. Pikelets and tea for Lol, scones with jam and cream and latte for me. Yummy. We came back and visited Sainsburys in The Field where we tried to buy Empire for evilmastermind but failed. Then we went to Laura's where we scared her stepfather again. And then, I came home. The end.

day out, afternoon tea, driving, laura, rubbish
