Today on 14valentines I'd like to talk about Lucy Wainwright Roche. The rest of today's entries are here.
Lucy is the perhaps less famous half-sibling of Rufus and Martha; they have the same dad in Loudon, but Lucy's mum is musician Suzzy Roche. There's a better biography of the whole thing here. Wainwrights are confusing.
Lucy is actually adorable, and she has a beautiful voice that's higher and sweeter than Martha's. She has two EPs, 8 Songs, and 8 More, but is working on a full-length album. Because I believe she needs the monetary support I'm just going to share some of my favourite tracks rather than everything.
Her blog is here and her Facebook is here - she will add fans. She's on tour in the UK next month and from previous experience she will sign things afterwards, pose for photos, be generally beautiful and lovely, and will also be selling both EPs! This is her Myspace.
