Some random points:
* I really do like Amy Winehouse, and I take back everything I said about her, except she does have some fucking awful tattoos and also her hair is bigger than she is
* There is a big furore (don't you love that word) at work about the recent smoking ban and what it means for staff and centre users. I entirely couldn't care less. I'm quite opposed to the ban, actually. I think certain places (such as the shisha restaurants which are (were?) havens for young Muslims who don't drink) should be able to opt out. And won't it be weird seeing bands without cigarettes in their guitars?
* I'm dying to post this new fic I've been working on. I think some of you are sick of hearing about it! If _paynomind_ agrees with the name change I gave it, I'll be posting it this weekend. I kind of feel in a way like it'll be my last ever fic. Don't ask why, I just feel it.
* I'm going to spend August working on the band novel. I've recently read something which proved to me I can write it how I want to. So I, er, should.
* I recently also read The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. (I think that's his name. Or indeed hers. I'm not sure? Wikipedia done told me the answer!) I loved it. So much. Anyone read it? It was just the perfect type of book for me.
* I recently did NOT read one of our book club books for next week. The Turn of The Screw by Henry James. It was rubbish. My bad.
* Next week Himself's band are playing in Sheffield! And on the 1st of August in Leeds! Woo. The one in Leeds has a poster, and everything. And on the poster it says 'BAND NAME - featuring James Hart!' He's the drummer. The rest of them got pissed off cos why weren't THEY named on the poster? LOL
* My friend Kate's hen party and wedding are in three weeks! Yay!
