Your result for What's your key signature?...

C Major

No sharps, no flats, no problems!

Congratulations, you’re C Major, the choice of lazy piano students the world over. While not much of a guitar key (playing F chords is a bitch for beginners) it both sounds nice and is easy to play on pretty much every other instrument, easily tuned to any occasion. While some songs in major keys can still retain a fairly melancholy sound to them throughout the overall vibe, those songs are rarely in C. C is reserved for happy sunshiny days in the summer time, where everyone feels good and doesn’t have to hit any sharps or flats.

You are a fairly happy and easy going person yourself if you got this result, perhaps even annoyingly so. Lots of musicians actually loathe C Major, it’s so overused. Don’t give up hope on the power of happiness, though! If you do, you might have to switch your result to D Minor.

SONG EXAMPLE: Nothing From Nothing by Billy Preston

INTERESTING TIDBITS:

* When people think peace and happy lazy days, they may think of the ukulele. Well the Uke just happens to be tuned to a C6 chord.

* Some casinos tune their slot machines to make noises in the key of C so they don’t sound sinister. It’s pretty effective obviously, since people still piddle their cash away.
