I would appreciate reiki, energy, prayers, positive thoughts, etc, for my uncle Rodney. He was admitted to the hospital last night after falling from a balcony. I received a call from mom around 11:30p. I sent distant reiki for about an hour (which, needless to say, was all received very strongly) before finally getting too sleepy. She called Ry with an update around 1:30a, and again to talk to me at 7:30.
The CAT scan showed no brain damage, which is something. However, in addition to things like a broken jaw, nose, sinus cavity, and gapping gash that almost took his eye, his spine has been injured. At 10a this morning, they'll be doing a three hour surgery where they open him up, lay aside his stuff, and remove three vertebrae, replacing them with some plastic alternative. He'll then be taken back to ICU, though mom hasn't been told any information about recovery time or process.
