Payment Problems
Might as well expunge on this here (yet again), granted I think those on FB are much aware of my situation & are keeping tabs. Koreans are known for their impatience, so say the Koreans >> and oi ve are they speedy about many things. Went to the hospital today to see if I mangled my knee badly or not & we (the CT & I) just waltzed on in, got everything done within 10 minutes or so with no appointment. Yet _-_ I've had so many issues with receiving my pay on time. I really hope they paid me for November >> because I'm fed up with getting paid late now that this is my last month in Korea. This is the 3rd time they are late and my contract obviously states that I will be paid on the 25th of every month unless it falls on a weekend/ holiday. I've had to inform my main CT at least 4x's, another CT 1x, the Boryeong Office of Edu 1x, Coordinator of S/TaKE back home (who never responded back to me) 1x and the Coordinator of CNOE 4x now ... don't you think that's a bit much? Anyways, I wasn't able to check the ATM/ bank this past weekend due to a number of circumstances but the money better be in my account -_- Many of the other NETs plus my friends have agreed that I have been MORE THAN patient in dealing with this situation. Some suggested I not go to school at all, go back home, etc. If I had not encountered this issue, I would have leaned towards going to Japan to see my friends in Chiba, plus it'd be nice to go with a few of the others here but I do not think that is possible now. The couple I was planning to go with are actually going to Comiket >< I would have liked that experience, plus I would have dragged all of them with me to Sweets Paradise in Harajuku XD I'd visit my host-family as well, lots of stuff ... I was aiming for Dec. 28/29, 2012 - Jan. 1, 2013 but ticket prices are raising up each day & disappearing. =_= I also owe my friends money (air & hotel fare) because I was not paid on time as we're planning to head on over to Jeju Island. One thing for sure, if I am not paid on time ... it's not going to rain, it's going to hail because my relatives are somewhat aware of this. Seeing how they are, they'll raise up a fuss & use all the connections they have, since the family is rather close ^^;;; That is something I want to see & yet do not want to see, because there's going to be some fireworks. (I did learn via the coordinator of CNOE that it seems the person in charge of my pay is at fault & continues to forget about me, nor apologizes for it either. Sucks don't it?) Me thinks the administration office who's in charge of my pay is very lucky in dealing with me, because ... well I think I said enough eh?
