So yesterday I went to the movies with the high school girls and twas a fun experience I think. The girls were giggling/ drooling over the guy in the movie and their reactions made me want to crack up so badly. Otherwise -__- I really do hate how Korean movies/ dramas make me tear up. Ah, I did note that the girls laugh at serious parts of the movie o.O? even with "Remember the Titans" ... I don't get it. The movie theater we went to is the only one in Boryeong and I believe the girls filled up the theater ... they got to choose from 3? films. I wound up watching some wolf-thingy (posted a link on my FB). I did not really understand too much of it, but it seemed similar to the story of Genie except with some makeup/ special effects as the dude changed into a beast.
I think I need to get a few long shirts/ turtlenecks. I don't know if I want to get another pair of pants, but the weather is getting chilly. Oh yeah ^^;; I started to make a list of things to give away, to keep, to throw ... in preparation for going back home. I really can't wait to go back home, although my experience here has been rather good. I think, even though I am quite far away from the "city-life" my schools really do take care of me. I really enjoy interacting with the students and teachers, granted the boys tend to drive me nuts but overall I think thus far this has been a great learning opportunity.
::observation::
- teacher sharpening knife at school is something you would NEVER see in the office in the US, but it made me go O.O hearing the sounds (don't worry, it was one of those paper knives)
- Koreans often-times act as a collective I think < this assumption is based on my girls through the movie in how they reacted, but I know it's not all true
- the high school girls tend to run out of the movie when needing a break, instead of walking out
