I'm launching the Action Movies Trivia Contest on Youtube
About two months ago, I broke my right leg and, as the result, I can’t do any gymnastics and martial arts for quite some time. I’ve had an idea for the action cinema related contest for almost a year now, and think this is the right time to launch it.
So what’s the contest about?
- one edition every week
- 3 video questions per each edition
- answers are left as comments to the video
- after 10 editions of the contest, top 3 contestants get the prizes: Jackie Chan's "The Legend of Drunken Master" on Blu-ray (1st place), the book "Striking Thoughts: Bruce Lee's Wisdom for Daily Living" (2nd place), and Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris Poster (3rd place)
Today at around 4-5am in the morning, I uploaded the first edition of the contest on Youtube. My improvised speech didn’t turn out smooth: long pauses between sentences and the lack of rehearsals are quite obvious. But I still publish the way it is without further perfection. I don’t think there’s a need to wait for an ideal moment: just publish raw, publish early, and then make improvements on the go!
