playng catch up
My mother got out of the hospital today and went back home. She's moving around really well and moving much faster than before the new hip, so she should do just fine. And I have to admit, it's a relief to not have to be running back & forth to the hospital like I have for the past 10 days. She will be set up with a home health nurse and my brother lives just a few miles from her, and other family lives even closer. We'll take a ride up in a week or so, depending on weather, etc.
Our dsl was down again this week, but this time only for a day. I was wandering around here not knowing what to do with myself! Crazy! Our neighbors across the street just hooked up to dsl the day before, and just that that the whole neighborhood went down. Would be nice if Centurytel could fix that problem.
Had to bring my cpap machine in this morning to get a loaner & send this one in for repair. It's been shutting off during the night-not a good thing if I want to keep breathing:) Mew year, new insurance company, new medical equipment place to deal with-yuk. My machine is about 5 years old and because they didn't sell it to me, they said there would be liability issues (why?) if they got it repaired-so they gave me a new one instead. Makes no sense to me, but as long as it works is what really counts.
On a good note, I got a fabulous array of red collage stuff from meadowood this week. Thank you so much, I love it all! And the timing was perfect-perked me up on an otherwise grey yukky day.
Will play more catch up tomorrow and maybe even try a voice post, which I have been enjoying listening to!
