My culinary skills, like I've often mentioned, aren't of the lip-smacking variety. Even so, food makes my world go round.
This time around I tried to deviate a bit from the regular tomato or white sauce. Instead I blended cashew nuts, onion, tomato, spinach, basil and some garlic to make a spunky green gravy. A friend had passed on this recipe.
Although, I think it turned out decent, I could do with some more seasoning next time. Still, with olive-topped focaccia bread, it tasted alright.
