Real not reel
Today, at the movies, something interesting happened.
As soon as the interval began, the girl in the aisle seat parallel to mine, was inundated with 'Happy Birthday' wishes from her friends and family.
Suddenly a voice boomed from the Dolby speakers. 'Check, check, mic..1.2..3', he said. 'Happy Birthday, XYZ. Thank you for changing my life by becoming a part of it,' he gushed.
The screen displayed this message 'Dear XYZ, A Very Happy Birthday To You. Love, ABC.'
Finally, the guy marched towards his ladylove with a bouquet of red roses and bear hugs.
Apparently it was some sort of surprise for the birthday girl. Sweet.
And you thought stuff like this happens only in reel life .
I was kinda glad to be a part of this audience as well. :))
