T-Bone's BFF
My 6 yr old son tried to pull one over on my last night. He told me that Hamburger was T-Bone's (from the Clifford the Big Red Dog series) BFF. I saw from the little sparkle in his eye that he was just WAITING for me to ask what BFF meant. I didn't take the bait. He needs to know that dear old dad knows the lingo. I replied with something like "What about Clifford and Cleo?". He thought about it for a moment and replied "I think they're just BF's". Then he got the little twinkle back in his eye and was just ITCHING for me to ask what it meant. I couldn't hold out any longer and decided to ask "What's BF?". He exploded with the answer and was quite happy with himself. When he finished, he had one eyebrow raised (like I often do) and was nodding his head like "yep, it's true..."
