[Week 9]
Yay! I'm on time this week!
Man, I haven't posted in LJ since school ended a few days ago.
How are you guys enjoying your summer? I know a few friends of mine are in summer school and a lot of others are working, but I for one am a full fledged hima-jin (loafer ROFL). However, I am going to be a traveling hima-jin and I'll be gone in a few weeks to Florida, and then back to New Jersey, and then to Tokyo and possibly several other cities if I get a Japan Rail Pass =P
I'm in the process of translating all the weeks I'll miss in advance and uploading them all up so in case I don't have internet/forget my K8 duties and karaoke too much either debbie_chan or bibi_teko can post them for me in my absence.

Burnable Trash Japanese people separate trash like their lives depend on it (well with global warming and such our lives DO depend on it rofl) so he's just referring to that. I think there's burnable, un-burnable, P.E.T. bottles, and 'special' which is like batteries and such, but I'm not sure because I must admit I'm horrible at separating everything when I'm over there.
Notable Topics They write in a little pun there that's hard to put through in the translation. They say "yoku iwareru kotoba" and "yoku kuchi ni suru." "Yoku iwareru" means "often said" and "yoku kuchi ni suru" can also mean "often said (about)" but it can also mean "often eaten/tasted" as what it's meant here.
