Subaru's catchphrase wasn't the easiest thing to translate because it takes more than a surface look. If you were to go word-for-word, he seems to talk about driving safely; more specifically, checking the surroundings before making a turn. I think he is trying to express that people should live their lives not only thinking about themselves but others as well. It's somewhat hard to expain, but I hope that makes some sense. I found Subaru's catchphrase rather clever. (.^_^.)
