And as yet another small incident resolves with little satisfying conclusion, I wonder if Discedo is as interesting as I'd imagined~ The lack of tea or sake certainly doesn't help this.

So, to entertain myself, I'd like to have a little curiosity of mine sated. What exactly is the governmental structure of Discedo?

Oh, I suppose there isn't much in the way of a overall governmental structure in the city. The police force do their best to protect people, though, and I suppose that is what is important! [Sparkly and oh so earnest~~]

A police force seems ineffective without an authority to take orders from. How do they go about protecting people?

Oh, but what sort of orders would an authority give, in a ruined place like this? The monsters and murders are threat enough, I would think~

I'd imagine very little, but a person to blame is always good for keeping people's spirits up.

Ah, what an awful thing to say... Enough people as it is already blame the police force for things far beyond their control.

Many things in life are awful, that doesn't mean they should be cast aside and ignored.

By doing awful things, most relieve stress. I'd imagine there's quite a bit of stress in Discedo~

That is really a very cynical thing to say about people. Untrue, as well-- there are plenty here who wouldn't even dream of doing anything awful~

And there are plenty who would no doubt~ Morality doesn't last long, when the right circumstances are provided/

Even so-- the people here are different from the ones back home. I believe in their ignorance and gullibility that most wouldn't do anything like that.

...people arrive here, powerless, disoriented, and alone. The people of Discedo, instead of taking advantage of their inexperience and lack of abilities, instead welcome them into this world. And it makes it so easy~ Ah, I suppose that seems really quite moral to me...

That would depend on whether their motives are entirely pure. By taking that side of the argument, it's much more difficult for you~
