I just made meat pies from scratch! Dough and all! And they are tasty! A little tweaking and they shall be fantastic... yes...
I have never made anything remotely dough-y before except for my zucchini bread. This was an amusing and fun experiance and must be repeated. I am going to flip through my extremely old but new to me cookbook and find something to make tommorow.
My cookbook is nifty btw. It's as old as my grandmother, if not older, I swear, but it's fascinating. It has recipes for hausenpfeffer, sukiyaki, a million and one things to do with potates... It's so old-school it has a whole section on 'Cooking for the Stag Party' and 'When Your Husband's Boss Comes to Dinner'... V.I.P Cookery. *laughs* I am amused.
I am now off to bake doggie biscuits whilst re-reading Microbiology. I forgot how much I enjoyed those delightful diseases!
