Dear Heartless Corporations:
Stop lying to me with job offers that have no base pay or expense write offs, and offer 100% commission. I am not about to go up to people and harass them into buying something from me especially when they probably are better off without the product. It's called being ethical and having morals, and yes, it is serious business. You are the reason that people hate corporations and business people; you and Enron are the reasons why every business course I took had an entire lecture dedicated to ETHICS; why every textbook I bought had an entire chapter on it. I am not going to allow myself to be caught up in your demonic claws and become a despicable sales person who tells half-truths because their livelihood depends on commissions.
Unrespectfully,
Me
And no, I'm still optimistic of finding a good company to work for because there are good companies out there. Though it is rather disheartening that I keep getting interviewed for positions like these. I have to thank the internet age for putting such a wide array of information at my fingertips.
no love,
open letters,
someone please give me a job,
tripping on yellow bricks
