Damn You, Karma! >_
I think my karma is playing with me... On Sunday, I had a good day. On Monday, it wasn't that pleasant. And now today, it was fun.
After Banban's class today, I had a whim decision to go to SFMOMA since she said that she needed to go. The funny thing was that yesterday, I went with my art class, but since I have a class after that one, I have to rush my way back to the campus so that I wouldn't miss Japanese.
So yesterday when that event happened, I was only five minutes late ^^;;. Thankfully he didn't start the test yet but went over the vocabulary we need to learn for the quiz tomorrow. XP But despite the fact that I was late, that time in MOMA was good.
But back to MOMA, I had fun =). It wasn't those kinds of fun when you're laughing and having a good time. Well, I -did- have a good time there, and I was amazed by some of the exibits. They had an exibit that was for an artist called Eliasson, and most of his exibits were how simple items and resources can still be beautiful.
There was also this other photography piece that really stood out from the rest. It was called "The Destroyed Room" taken in 1978 by Jeff Wall. *_*
So after that trip, I went to Banban's house and we watched this movie titled Cannibal Holocaust. Before I watched it, it was supposedly controversial, and even the director and editor had to spend some time in jail and pay a fine when it was produced! It even says on the cover that people under 17 should not watch it. And with hearing and reading all of that, I can totally agree that it's controversial. >_<
I have to say so myself that it -is- a good movie, but it's not for someone who get's grossed out easily... as well as seeing live animals getting killed... or seeing nude bodies... or seeing gore... or seeing cruelty to 'third world civilizations' ^^;;.
But then, after that... when I was about to go home, Banban's brother had to put it on a South Park episode that I liked watching so I stayed there for another 30 minutes =P. And now I'm back home... not doing homework that's due tomorrow... which I really should get going on. XD;;;;
