What's going on with Delicious???? It's not being taken down, surely?? But ... my rec lists! HUNDREDS of fics saved! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Could someone fill me in about this? And give me an alternative platform.

Or have I got this wrong?

That's what I've heard. Someone released an internal slide that showed they were going to phase it out along with a bunch of other things. There's a couple articles talking about it. Where I found the news of the shut down - http://techcrunch.com/2010/12/16/is-yahoo-shutting-down-del-icio-us/

Never had an account with them myself, but I've got plenty I've bookmarked and keep tabs on (lists and archives for various fandoms for one)

Damn it!! I LOVE Delicious. I use it constantly. I love that I bookmark for myself and others can use it too. I'm really proud of my recs list :( If they really do shut it down completely we need an alternative. Buggerbuggerbugger!!

You might check out diigo, it comes highly recommended by the twitter hivemind, and it's probably where I'll port my delicious bookmarks.

Damn it, this is such terrible news. Delicious is so perfect. Thank you for the link. I shall check that out. I shall most probably end up wherever the rest of fandom goes. So Diigo lets you import bookmarks?
