I've been following this 'verse/series for a while now and I have to appologize for not posting a comment earlier (life's been so hectic I usually read updates on my ipod at work!)
Anyway, the Dick/Slade pairing has always intrigued me just because so much can be done with it (and also because Slade's my favorite villain and who better to read him with than my favorite hero?) I absolutely love your fics, they're so dark and dank and needy, you've managed to characterize Dick's darkness during that time and Slade's villany just perfectly. Your writing style is so unique and I do love the polar opposite you give us in this installation with Dick trying to find the warmth he once had with his friends and family without asking for the help he needs leading him to ultimately go back to Slade's (waiting) arms.
I am curious though, you've hinted at Batman suspecting something will that come out? How closely are you going to follow cannon? Is Tarantula raping Dick and them running off going to come into play? Is Wargames?
I don't mean to pressure you it's just you have me so invested in these stories!

Thank you so much! I'm so chuffed you've been enjoying. It makes a nice change for me to write something darker and this is the perfect pairing for it.

I shall be leaving canon in my wake very soon, but the next chapter should answer at least one of your questions. It's just being beta'd now so it shouldn't be too long before it's up.
