It was lovely! Very relaxing, despite all the walking we did.

We stayed at The Remont and it's £118.00 a night for a twin, lncluding breakfast. Worth every penny and the buses go right past every five minutes. http://www.remont-oxford.co.uk/

Cool, thanks, bookmarked it! :)

I really want to see the Bodleian, maybe I can make it a work trip next year...

I definitely recommend it. It's probably my favourite hotel of all time! It was perfect in every way.

You must!!

Very nice pics and interesting to read about your trip. I've visited Oxford once but I was only 15 at the time so can't remember much about it. Should maybe visit it again some day.

Talking about getting lost. I would recommend you to be careful at the hotel at Birmingham in October. The hotel is just huge and I kept getting lost there. A good idea to memorize the elevators you have to use to get to your room and back downstairs and the way there. If memory serves right there were at least three different sets of elevators and they all took into different parts of the hotel. Occasionally felt very lost there...

Loved Torchwood! I've actually watched the ep twice now, once at work and once at home. Hating the time difference that keeps me from watching the ep right after it's aired. Can't wait for the next ep! Luckily it isn't too far off now *g*

What lovely pics. Dunno if you knew this but Oxford is my home town.

Where abouts was your hotel? Was that pub where you had a drink the Head of the River?

I didn't know that! Wow! I would love to live there. I've got my eye on it for when I win the lottery.

The hotel was on the Banbury Road, ten minute walk from a large parade of shops and ten minutes by bus the from the centre.

I think that might have been the pub. I have a terrible memory. I shall check with Kitty!

I think you were probably just down the road from my mum's. :)
