I'll start with the copyright question. Does anyone know anything in regards to original fic and posting online? As I head into the wonderful world of Stuff That's Actually Mine, where do I stand if I post some of it online and then go on to submit the same piece, or a re-worked version of it, to a publisher? Let's just be kind for sec and say that I do manage to get a story into print, will there be repercussions because I have had it up on a website? I only ask because I've been doing a little bit of research, and blogging etc is a great way to showcase.
I had my hair cut today. The hairdresser proper hacked at it (eek). It looks good, though - surprisingly.
One of the cats has the runs. I'm not sure which one. I just wish that when they're going to shit on the floor, they would just pick a spot and go with it. Why do they have to spread the love?
I posted the first chapter of my Harry/Draco fic,
Parity Transformations a couple of days ago. It seems to have been well received. Yay! I'm very pleased. I'm hoping to make quick progress with this fic. The ideas are all there so it's just a matter of getting it all down. I'm halfway through the next chapter already. It feels good to be enthusiastic again :o)
