Disaster!

I just broke my X-Files mug!

I'm so gutted. I'd had it for years. My ex (the one I'm friends with and still sleep with occasionally) gave it to me.

I can't believe it's gone. Not to mention half a cup of tea wasted. Wasted, I tell you!

Stupid loose-fitting slippers.

Oh no! I think you should save the pieces, though, just to still have as a keepsake. (Yeah, I'm odd)

It's awful when you break your favourite mug. I did not that long ago I'm still breaking in my new one.

I'm still breaking in my new one.

LOL! How's that going? I've already started thinking about what I want on my new mug ... even though I already have 15 in the cupboard.

I'm so sorry. *hugs*

Have you checked ebay? Since the cup has special meaning for you so it might be worth replacing. I had a trivet I just loved but it was accidentally smashed to bits and I was thrilled when I was able to find another one.

~huggles~ No, I don't think a replacement would work. You see, it was chipped just so and the logo was fading in certain places. I had a lot of love for that mug.

Aww, sorry it's not replaceable. *hugs*

At least you do have the memories. I've not really become attached to anything in a long time, and that sounds pretty special.

That's so sad!
About the mug, not the tea.
Tea is okay, but I'm a coffee addict. I've only been drinking it for 23 years.
Did I mention I'm also 25? Yeah, I'm addicted.
You're poor mug... ::sighs::

Ah, you started young. As did I. Weirdly, I started with coffee. I used to have it in my juice cup instead of orange. No wonder I'm so stunted ...

My mug! ~wails~

hah!
No it didn't!
I'm only 5'3", and according to experts, caffine won't stunt your growth unless you drink about six cups a day.
So we can't blame the sweet, sweet java nectar.
Just genetics.
::shakes fist:: stupid genes!
They're also most likely responsible for any mental illness, as well. WEll, at least it is in my case.
