I'm glad they didn't drug him over some dire reason and I'm thinking Spike won't do that again anytime soon.

No, and Spike didn't really want to do it this time, but it was Xander's own good. Meep. At least Xander understands.

oh so it was Angel's idea for the drugs, but it was for Xander's own good, and to get him strong for the upcoming fight. I guess it was for his own good.

So Xander is set to be the hero. With Spike by his side. How could everyone not love them afterwards, they are such a cute couple.

“Firstly…the whole drugging you thing…”

Spike hesitated and Xander turned to look at him while he waited.

When Spike finally met his eyes, he managed to finish his sentence. “…it was Angel’s fault.”

Okay, I had to laugh at that. Which is good because I've been in desperate need of a good laugh and this chapter got that done while still managing to make me go "Meep! Xaaaaaaaaander!!!" because gah! And the exchange between Spike and Xander about how Spike won't let him die? I loved that entire exchange and how Spike's insisting that Giles will have to get over it since they're going to be saving the world and Buffy, lol. Ah, Spike, you optimist. *g* Wonderful chapter as usual!

Thank you, sweetie! You know me, I like to put in a little comedy here and there; the show wasn't all about the angst and I want this to be the same. So of course Spike blames Angel! Hee!!
