Easter is approaching and I'm planning a fabulous feast of sorts. It will be a 6 lb Lamb leg minty and garlicy and so incredibly tasty I will devour the entire rack of leg in perhaps one sitting. Of course I'll have some help.
We have been on a fish/shrimp kick as of late and eating quite well, thank you. Fish ranging from the red to the trout and bass all wonderfully caught in the gulf of Mehico. I have been inspired to put some use to my birthday gift of last year and pull my rod out. This weekend calls for such plans but only to find a dock that is both comfortable and quiet. No kids to run into as they easter egg hunt their tarty hearts away.
I am close to finishing what may become one of my favorite books to read in a long time. Curtis Sittenfeld's 'Prep' is addicting and written on such a great level of thought. I can't help but relate to the main character, of course who wouldn't. I'm such a PrepSchool bookreading whore!
Sorry for the lack of updates and pictures. I know so many are eagerly awaiting the revival of Ninja and Suki's better (or worse) half but again batteries die and Maria gets lazy. The last thing on my mind besides the obvious and not trying to attack this city and it's real worldliness is my own world of the neverending better job hunt and hoarding myself off for the better of mankind at my current place of employ.
a nice VaYKaY is only a slice of a month and a half left...
