I'm back!

...just barely though ^_^;;

Sorry for being MIA yet again. I had to man a booth at Japan Weekend in Barcelona 10 days ago ALL BY MYSELF, and then went to help at the book fair in Leipzig this past weekend. Today I got back to work to find my PC completely taken over by a fake antivirus called sth like "Vista Security 2010," which kept popping up messages about my PC being infected and in super danger and wouldn't let me open a single application (except for messenger O_o). Also found an urgent document that needed reading and discussing with my boss. So, not only did my plans of working only in the morning shatter miserably, I even had to bring documents at home to read for tomorrow T__T In other words, my plans of preparing the softsubs for Code Blue 2 ep7 and translating ep9 went down the drain as well T__T Not to mention reading "Umibe no Kafuka" for tomorrow's Japanese class.

*sigh*

The Barcelona experience was something I never want to repeat if I can help it >.< Getting the boxes from the hotel to the convention center was horrible, there were so many thieves I was about to go crazy, and the last day I finished packing up so late there were no buses anymore and the radio taxi persons couldn't understand where I was to pick me up -.- That and somehow the UPS order went wrong and they still haven't gone to pick up the boxes I've left.

On the bright side though, I was finally able to meet tenjostyle!! I was so happy ^__^ Thank you so much for coming, and for the yummy cookies ^/////^ Next time I'll go to Spain for vacation so we can spend more time together ^_^

Germany... was exhausting! Not the book fair itself, but the traveling. Had to take the plane to Frankfurt Hahn (1.5 hours), bus to Frankfurt center (1.5 hours), then 2 trains to get to Leipzig (4~5 hours) O_o Not to mention that my travel plans fell down the drain since the Terravision bus drivers were on strike the whole time I was there, so had to improvise with other buses and trains -.-

On the bright side, I met the one and only qnhu! That was pretty amazing as well. We shared a room and worked together, though in different booths. But it was fun ^__^ The other guys were amazed how well we were getting along even though it was the first time we were meeting face to face ^_^ Ah, I wish Querbeet staff could meet often like that ^_^

Another... odd? thing happened on the second day. I was wearing my jacket with my Yamapi, Ryo-chan, and Tegomasu pins on it, and this girl started talking to me after noticing them. Turns out she's a KAT-TUN fan, and more specifically a Kame fan. The conversation then directed itself to Code Blue and I mentioned I was actually subbing it and asked her if she knew Querbeet, and she was like, "Oh I'm a huge fan! Please let me a take a picture!!" XD It felt so weird having... a fan ^/////^ But it all happened so fast I forgot to ask her LJ username >.< If you're reading this, please tell me it's you ^____^ (Which is why this post is public. Apologies to those not interested in my boring life XD).

Anyway, it took me 11.5 hours yesterday to get back home, then I had a lot of things to do, then went to visit my aunt, later came back home and sent a few urgent business emails and ended up sleeping at 1 AM. Got up at 7 this morning, worked all day, came home at dinner time, tidied up my room, and now I'm checking my 499-email inbox and writing this! I've still got those boring docs to read, but I'm so tired I am absolutely certain I'll fall asleep after the first line XD

Anyway, tenjo-chan, lin-chama, send me the pics! ^___^

I'll try my best to finish Code Blue fast -I wanna know what happens too! ^_^
After that, I'll be going on semi-hiatus from subbing. Need to concentrate on some RL stuff.

Oh, I was asked to go to Switzerland in April for another anime convention. Still haven't decided whether I'll go or not though...

rant, rl
