The survey firm Oricon has announced its top rankings for DVDs and Blu-ray Discs sold between December 2007 and December 2008.
Who cares about the Oricon DVD charts, I thought.... Until I actually saw the titles!

Most money earned: 47 by KANJANI Eight (￥1.97 billion ~ US$22 million ~ €15.8 million)
Music DVDs
Most Copies: 47 by KANJANI Eight (282,041 copies)

Ok, my bias was quite clear till now. Can you find the reason for the next one? (though if you looked carefully in the 3rd image, the same person appears there too ^__^)
They look like they (Oguri Shun & Yamada Takayuki) get along quite well together. I like it when that happens ne ^__^

Miura Haruma (Bitou Tatsuya)
Of course I've seen the previous movie and read the original work, and was interested in the character called "Bitou Tatsuya," so when I was given the chance to choose I was very happy.
The character I'm playing this time (16-year-old Bitou Tatsuya) was drawn in the original work last year, so I want to give it my all thinking of the role in my own way. I'm extremely looking forward to working again with Oguri-san, and the rest of the cast is made up of fascinating actors, so I want to learn a lot from them.
Screening will be on April 11

A piece of news I just read form Anime News Network that surprised me. I mean, I love Keanu Reeves, but like what!? XD
Actor Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly, Johnny Mnemonic) told the MTV Movies Blog that he hopes to play the lead role in Twentieth Century Fox's proposed live-action film adaptation of Sunrise's Cowboy Bebop multi-genre action anime series. Erwin Stoff, a film producer who worked closely with Reeves on The Matrix and A Scanner Darkly, told the IFMagazine.com entertainment website in July that a film development deal was signed. Stoff and Reeves both emphasized a desire to remain faithful to the original work.
