hiroi = wide
so, what? "the face is wide"? NOPE; "he knows a lot of people"! quite interesting i must say.
another thing i really liked -read during yesterday's lesson- is: "tsukuranakereba naranaku narimashita". i guess this can't be classified as being a single word, but logically i figure it should be! it's simply a conjugation of the verb "tsukuru":
tsuku-ru = to make
tsuku-ranai = not make
tsuku-rana-kereba = if not make
tsuku-rana-kereba-naranai = if not make, not be of use = must make
tsuku-rana-kereba-naranaku-narimasu = to become that must make
tsuku-rana-kereba-naranaku-narimashita = it has become that must make
super cool ^^ i think a coupla hours would pass before i'd be able to put together sth like this during a conversation !

** can't stand: this is my first "CAN'T STAND" entry. today's is: ITALIAN TV. programs so suck. useless nonsense all the time; lunch, snack time and dinner. i don't like to watch TV, but those few times i have to come in contact with it are always torture!
