lately i've been getting really confused with languages! sometimes my first reaction to some situations comes in japanese.. the other day i wanted to say "zurui"! it took me a while to think of way to express what i was thinking in a language grandma would understand! another time i wanted to say "yowai" but i couldn't remember how to say it in italian ! i ended up saying it in english (thank God grandma knows english!).
yesterday, for some reason, i was thinking of how to say "eat lunch" in french. must have been sth i saw on TV. i was like, how do you say lunch in french? hirugohan.. no no, that's japanese.. lunch is similar to breakfast, and breakfast is... asagohan! no no no, that's still japanese! hmmm eat eat.. taberu. no... hmmmm, alors, on va manger le.. déjeuner! et petit déjeuner!! i remembered! i had to start a whole sentence in order to switch to french mode! i must say, my french is the language being most affected by this confusion! everytime i wanna think in French i end up saying things in Japanese!
