Summary: Eunhyuk is insecure, but Donghae is there to reassure him.
Donghae POV
The members rushed into the van after the long recording, happy to finally get to eat dinner. Shindong hyung yelled in joy when Seunghwan hyung said he would treat us to samgyupsal. As I settled down in my usual seat in the middle of the van, I noticed something missing. The familiar mop of blond hair was nowhere to be seen, and I couldn’t hear my lover’s adorable laugh ringing amongst everyone else’s.
Where’s Hyukkie?!! Where’s my monkey?!! Oh no! What if he got kidnapped and raped and murdered?!!!
“Hyung! We’re missing Hyukkie!! He’s been kidnapped by antis!!! Hyung, they probably threw him into the Han River! Hyung, we need to go find him!!!!!”
“Yah! Calm down, fishy! Eunhyuk said he’d meet us at the restaurant. He had something to finish, I guess. Geez, and people say I’m a drama queen.”
My fishy senses were telling me something was wrong. I quickly jumped out of the van, stepping all over Heechul hyung and Kyu along the way. I ignored the screams and curses that came out of their mouths and ran back into the SBS building.
“Hyukkie, I’m coming to save you!!!!”
I ignored the strange looks all the staff gave me. My monkey was far more important. I ran into the Strong Heart studio and looked around the empty set for my Hyukkie. No sign of Hyukkie. My fishy senses were in emergency mode now.
I ran onto every set looking for him, but he wasn’t anywhere, and angry producers kept yelling at me for interrupting their show. I tried to argue that Hyukkie was far more important than some stupid show called Star King, but no one believed me and told me to get my butt out, except they used a lot of no-no words that Teukie hyung told me I shouldn’t repeat.
I looked everywhere in the building and was finally tiring out. But I couldn’t give up. I still have to find Hyukkie. But first, I had to go use the little boy’s room. When I entered bathroom, the first thing I heard was sobbing. I immediately recognized my Hyukkie’s cries.
I ran to the very last stall where the sobs were coming from and started to bang on the door.
“Hyukkie!! I’m here to save you! Open the door!!!”
The sobs stopped, and the door to the stall opened, revealing Hyukkie’s face. His eyes were puffy from crying, and tears were streaming down his cheeks. I reached out and pulled him into my arms. He continued to sob into my chest. I held him even tighter and looked around for any sign of the attacker who attacked my cute monkey.
“Where’s the person that attacked you, Hyukkie? I’ll teach him a lesson!”
Hyukkie shook his head and said, “No one attacked me Hae. You pabo!”
I pulled his face up to meet mine. If no one attacked him, then why did he look so sad? I could feel my heart clench at the sight of Hyukkie crying.
“Then why are you crying, Hyukkie?”
He looked down at his feet, and more tears flowed out of his eyes. I started to freak out. Oh no! Did I say something wrong?!
“Am I really ugly, Hae?”
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard his heartbroken voice. I looked down at him, wondering if I had heard right.
“What did you say Hyukkie?”
He looked up at me with his sad eyes and quivering lips and said, “I asked if I was ugly. Am I so ugly that you’re embarrassed to be with me?! Is what the members said true?”
His voice cracked and more tears kept falling. It took me a while to understand what he was talking about, but then I remembered the Strong Heart recording. I smiled and gave him a bone-crushing hug.
“You’re supposed to be smarter than me, Hyukkie. How can you think such a thing?”
Hyukkie looked up into my eyes. “But is it true, Hae?”
I held his face in my hands and let my thumbs brush over the features of his face. How could an angel like him think he’s ugly?
“No, Hyukkie, it’s not true. You’re the most beautiful person in the world. Both your face and your heart. Honestly, I think you’re way better looking than Siwon. If people can’t see your beauty, it’s their loss. I want to all to myself anyways.”
Hyukkie yanked me into a tight hug as his tears started off once more. As he settled down, I heard a grumbling in his stomach. He looked so cute when a blush came to his cheeks.
“Hungry?” He answered with a cute nod. He got up and dragged me out of the bathroom. “Let’s go eat. All that crying made me hungry,” he said with a cute pout.
I couldn’t help but pull him into my arms once more and whisper in his ear, “I’d rather have you tonight, baby.” I burst into a fit of laughter as my adorable baby turned bright red and ran out of my arms toward the parking lot.
A/N: excuse me for this fail haha I started working on this last month, but I just finished it today so here it is! I know it's a joke and all, but I really hate it when anyone calls Hyukkie or any of the other members ugly or not good-looking. I know how bad it hurts a person's confidence when they think they're not as good looking as everyone else. All the boys are beautiful in their own unique way. And to me Hyukkie is better looking than Siwon. Siwon fans please don't kill me. He's still amazing Shisus haha
