- What's your favorite quotation? Can be from anything: book, movie, person, etc...
oh boy... hahaha you've just opened a can of worms... I read so many books that I even have a notebook on phrases, little quotations that I especially liked from the books I've read, songs I've heard, and movies and shows I've watched... hahaha... but the one that has stuck with me the most .because of its universality is from the book Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky which I've read only in it's english translation, but it's still so amazing (imagine how much more impact it would have if I could read it in it's original russian version) anyways the quote is :
"I like them to talk nonsense. That's man's one privilege over all creation. Through error you come to the truth! I am a man because I err! You never reach any truth without making fourteen mistakes and very likely a hundred and fourteen."

The reason that I'm drawn to these two quotes is because I feel comforted that even if I were to make a mistake in judgement, in choice, it's still my choice to make and in the end from that error, that mistake, something beautiful may come out of it, and sometimes what may appear as mistake in other peoples eyes may be the best thing in yours and that's all that matters. I read this book for the first time when I was a freshman in high school and liked it but didn't completely understand. I read it again in college and I fell in love. After striking out on my own, I have come to appreciate this, and it's actually something I had made into a small plaque :) It reminds me to stick things through to the end and evaluate the results on my own standards and no one else's.
- What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
Depends on how rainy ^__^
light rain: no matter how childish it seems but I like to go running under it and then jump in puddles, I never got to do that as a child so I must make up for it.
heavy rain: curl up with a book with a lantern at hand because where I live right now if it's heavy rain it's almost assured that the electricity will be gone for a couple of hours.
- Do you believe in love at first sight?
Do I believe man walked on the moon? Heck yeah! Has it happened to me? Heck no! lol I believe that there is that spark of recognition, where you both might think from the moment you meet: "Hey, this person is it. This person is the one I want to walk my whole life with side by side." I still haven't experienced it, but I have experienced Lust at first sight, but that's completely different. o_O
- Batman or Superman?
Ummm neither?? though I did enjoy the comics... I'm more a Tuxedo Mask type of gal, I like my heroes pretty, not muscular... lol

um I hadn't, but then you asked and so I did... but I probably didn't look anywhere as cute as Teukie did doing this! hahaha >_<
