A fine day, the usual routine begins for Eunhyuk. Wake up, make the bed, brush teeth, shower, fix the hair and out to eat breakfast with the group. Not forgetting to be scolded by Leeteuk Umma for not waking up before the magnaes did; which was quite hard since they were always the first ones to wake up along with Leeteuk.
Ya! I told you to wake up early today! Why is it so hard?! Just then I got a call from manager hyung saying you weren’t careful with what you said on a recent tv show, you should really have some manners, and you forgot to attend the -‘, Leeteuk sighed, he knew the younger wasn’t listening.
‘I might as well fail as the band Umma’ Leeteuk slowly sat back down in his seat next to Kangin, the band appa, leaning his head on the other’s shoulder.
After letting out a longer sigh, everyone sent death glares to Eunhyuk, who didn’t even show a little bit of sorrow. But the look of Leeteuk’s expression slowly got to him, only few minutes later did he start to feel sorry.
‘A little slow aren’t we?’ Kangin looked at him with a disappointed look. Everyone followed Kangin’s actions by making small tsk-ing noises, as he looked around the table he found everyone’s eyes looking at him with disbelief. He saw Sungmin next to Kangin with the same disappointed look, followed by Yesung, Shindong, Kibum, Kyuhyun, and Ryeowook. By the time he reached the end of the table he quietly took his place next to Donghae. The other didn’t look that disappointed, Eunhyuk thought it was strange but Donghae was always the strange one.
Eunhyuk was glad at least one of the members were not mad at him, he quickly and quietly filled his plate while others were busy chatting and eating their food. But not Donghae, he was waiting until Eunhyuk sat back down then started to munch away.
Eunhyuk chuckled; Donghae can sure be adorable he thought, this earned him a glance from the said boy. Eunhyuk however choked on his food when he was shown the innocent face of Donghae. Lately he had been feeling strange whenever he was around Donghae. Even though they were best friends and talked and hugged each other constantly, these feelings were new to him.
‘Eunhyuk-ah you okay?’ Donghae stopped eating when he saw his best friend choking. Eunhyuk only nodded before reaching over the table to find a glass of orange juice to help his throat. While gulping down the half the glass he saw in the corner of his eyes Donghae watching him while still eating, Eunhyuk quickly gulped the rest of the drink, letting out a sigh of comfort, he saw Donghae was still watching him. His heart started to beat faster, why is it beating so fast? He’s my bestfriend, what are you doing Eunhyuk? I think I’m going to have a heart attack, would you slow down a little please? Eunhyuk was caught up in his thoughts until he felt a light squeeze on his left thigh; he jumped a little resulting in everyone looking at him.
‘I’m o- okay’ Eunhyuk told the rest. The hand on his thigh hasn’t moved away yet, he looked at Donghae, the hand was now slowly moving up and down. He gulped; it was loud enough that others heard it. Donghae leaned in, close enough that he could practically feel Eunhyuk’s heart beat rapidly.
He whispered ‘Are you sure you’re okay?’
Eunhyuk nodded and got up from his seat to help the others clean up the table, stacking up the dishes and handing them over to Sungmin was putting on his rubber pink gloves with printed bunnies on them.

After everything was cleaned up, the members got ready for their own schedules. Donghae, Sungmin, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk all had to go and film a variety show. Eunhyuk was glad he got to spend time with Donghae; he loved any moment he got to spend with him. They were the best of friends; Donghae would follow Eunhyuk around everywhere.
While on the set of the variety show, there had been many laughs, some where Eunhyuk was laughing so hard the he couldn’t breathe, but after the laughs came an incident. He wished that he could just wipe away what had happened.
This is what had happened earlier:
‘Hyukkie! Are you sure you’re feeling better from this morning? Donghae asked as he jumped onto the sofa that Eunhyuk was currently sitting on in their change rooms. Eunhyuk jumped a little, unable to get any words out.
‘Hello Hyukkie?’ Donghae waved his arm in front of his face as he snapped out of his thoughts.
‘O- oh I- I’m fine’ he gave Donghae a soft smile and the rapid beat of his heart returned. Why are you stuttering? Jesus, Eunhyuk you’ve gone mad.
‘That’s good’, Donghae returned the smile and snuggled his head into Eunhyuk’s chest.
‘Uh- oh this isn’t good’ Eunhyuk’s cheeks were turning a clearly visible shade of pink.
Eunhyuk practically jumped of the sofa and walked to the door, he couldn’t be seen like this.
‘Ow’ Donghae’s cheek hit the leather where Eunhyuk was once sitting.
‘Sorry’ He walked over, inspected Donghae’s cheek and gave it a rub with his thumb. Now it was Donghae’s turn to go pink.
‘Um sorry, that ah--- yea, I’m sorry’ Eunhyuk left the room and entered the closest bathroom. Sliding down the door, hugging his knees, he was now extremely confused with his feelings towards Donghae.
Why am I so red for? We do this all the time, aish Eunhyuk, get a hold of yourself.
Unknown to Eunhyuk, Donghae had followed him. He was on the other side of the door hoping for the other to come out and give him a tight hug. What was said next by the other shocked him.
‘Donghae, why do I feel this? I think I- I’m starting to like you’ Eunhyuk was unaware he had said that out loud until the ‘I like you’ part came out.
Oh god, why did I say that out loud? Aish, stupid! Stupid! Eunhyuk said while cursing himself and hitting his forehead.
On the other side of the door, Donghae smiled to himself. This was turning out to be a great day for Donghae but not for the latter. He still had his back against the door, until Eunhyuk opened the door and Donghae fell back a little before supporting himself with his palm. He slowly rose from his position and looked at Eunhyuk and gave him another adorable smile. Eunhyuk felt his cheeks reddened once again.
‘Eunhyuk ah, let’s go!’ he heard Sungmin yell from afar, he remembered that he had promised Sungmin to accompany him to the cafeteria that was available. Eunhyuk mentally thanked Sungmin for the perfect timing. The redness in his cheeks started to subside and wasn’t noticeable by Sungmin.
This is going to be a long day.

After a gruelling day of trying to avoid Donghae, he was glad to be home, the first thing he wanted to do was have a shower. His thoughts of the shower were cut short by Donghae.
‘Hyukkie, do you mind if I sleep with you tonight?’
Eunhyuk’s eyes widened, he couldn’t believe that Donghae said it so bluntly.
‘Hello Hyukkie? Can I please? I don’t want to be by myself since Hankyung is going to sleep in Siwon’s room’, he put on a pout which he knew no one could resist.
‘S-sure’ he let out a smile, oh so he just wanted to sleep with me, not sleep with me.
‘Great!’ Donghae simply walked off to the kitchen most likely to find something to eat.
Eunhyuk turned to his room and walked to the bathroom, when he reached the bathroom he looked at himself in the mirror. He noticed that he was a tad pale; he placed his hand on his heart, still beating fast.
Hae, why are you doing this to me?
