Summary: Yesung loves Ryeowook. Ryeowook loves Yesung but the Yesung in front of him isn’t the same as the one he fell in love with.

He sat huddled in the corner. His heart was beating too fast. His hands were clamped over his mouth silencing any noise escaping them. The building is eerily quiet. The silence made it even worse. His footsteps echoed loudly against the walls. Please oh please just walk past. Please don’t come in. His small pleas went unheard. It was so quiet he could even hear their heel scrap against the floor as they turned. The door opened in such a slow motion.

Please no please no. Ryeowook begged in his head. He couldn’t take much more of this. The door opened fully revealing the man that he didn’t ever want to see, his boyfriend Yesung. A deep set frown appeared on Yesungs face. Please please don’t find me. Please don’t see me. An evil smirk spread across Yesungs face. Ryeowooks heart started hammering and he cursed himself. It was beating so hard and fast there was no way Yesung couldn’t hear it. Sure enough those cold brown eyes turned to his direction.

“Naughty naughty Wookie what are you doing hiding there?”

Ryeowook visible gulped. Yesungs tone was coated with fake sweetness. It almost made Ryeowook sick. How could this person be the same person he once loved with his whole heart?

“Wookie come out here now”

Was it fake sweetness in his voice or did Ryeowook have his boyfriend back? There was a soft sparkle in Yesungs normally cold eyes. A single tear slid down Ryeowooks face this was his Yesung standing in front of him right now. He hadn’t seen this side of his boyfriend since they first got together. He wanted to run into his arms and let his boyfriend embrace him the way he used to. He wanted to so bad but his body would follow with his thoughts.

“Wookie its okay come out. You’re safe with me”

Yesung extended a caring hand out to Ryeowook. Why couldn’t he move? Why couldn’t he believe that his boyfriend was really back? Could Yesung have sunk so low that he would trick him just to get what he wants? Ryeowook shook his head sinking further down into the curled ball he was. Without even looking at Yesung he would see the frown that crossed over his face.

“Wookie don’t you want to be with me?”

Was that fake hurt or was it real? That tone in Yesungs voice was it real or just a trick. Oh how badly Ryeowook wanted to believe that it was real: To believe that his boyfriend had come back to him. One tear slid down his face, then another and another. When he spoke his words were shaky, coming out more like breathes then actual words.

“I can’t do this anymore Yesung”

Silence. Ryeowook swallowed a lump that had formed in his throat. It hurt to speak the words out loud. They had said that they would always be together, that they would be inseparable. Ryeowooks chest tightened. How he wished they could just go back to the days when they used to be happy. When Yesung was his sun, his moon and the air he needed, when Yesung was his life source. He heard a sigh but couldn’t make himself look up.

“But Wookie I love you. Don’t you love me?”

Did he really love him? Wookie swallowed a lump that had formed in his throat. Did Yesung really love him? If he did how could he do what he did to him? Ryeowook would search those cold eyes looking for any trace of love left. All he ever saw was emptiness. Had he caused Yesung to become this monster? It hurt so much. Ryeowook still loved him. His heart screamed out to Yesung. Another tear slid down his soft cheek.

“You’re not the Yesung I love. I want Sunggie back”

Ryeowook looked up through tear coated eyes at him. His cheeks were flushed but besides that he looked pale. He looked as if he had aged thirty years in the last ten minutes. Yesung however still looked perfect. On the outside he was still the person that Ryeowook loved best but on the inside he had become a monster. He had become something that Ryeowook hated. He had become something that hurt Ryeowook constantly.

Yesung sighed. All he wanted in the world was Ryeowook. He loved him with the very core of his being. It was as if Ryeowook was his source of life. No Ryeowook WAS the source of his life. He couldn’t let go of Ryeowook. He needed him. He loved him. Yesung raised two fingers to his forehead massaging his temple. Ryeowook was his one and only love he was nothing without him. Ryeowook flinched at the pained expression that crossed Yesungs face as their eyes met.

“I can change Ryeowook. Give me a chance. Stay by my side”

A sob escaped Ryeowooks mouth.

“I can’t do this anymore”

Something inside Yesung snapped. Here he was willing to work on their relationship and Ryeowook was turning him down. Ryeowook was going to leave him. Yesungs fists clenched. He wouldn’t let that happen. Ryeowook belonged to him and only him. Was there someone else? Was that why Ryeowook was so eager to leave? How could his Wookie do something like this?

“WHO IS HE?!”

Ryeowook jumped at the sound of Yesungs booming voice. What was he talking about? Ryeowooks eyes widened. Surely Yesung didn’t think he was cheating on him. Ryeowook had never seen himself with anyone besides Yesung.

“There’s no one Yesung. You’re the only one I’ve ever loved.”

“BULLSHIT!”

Ryeowook cowered further into the wall from Yesung: His heart hammering loudly in his chest. He was scared. Yesung was scary. Yesungs footsteps echoed loudly as he made his way to Ryeowook. Ryeowook flinched when he felt fingers come in contact with his chin. A shiver ran down his body as those fingers raised his head from its bent position. Those eyes that he had loved so much loomed in his view.

“Do you want to leave me?”

Yesungs hand caressed his cheek. Ryeowook willed himself to feel something from that contact. He tried forcing himself to feel the fireworks that Yesung used to set off in him. Nothing. He felt nothing. Whatever they had was gone. Staying in this relationship would be the worst thing for the both of them. Slowly he nodded his head.

SMACK

Ryeowook fell from his position sideways: His cheek burning from where Yesung had hit him. Yesung stood above him a murderous look in his eyes. Ryeowook shook in fear.

“Yesung please”

He begged over and over. SLAM. Another hit drawing the breath out of him, then another and another. Ryeowook pleaded for him to stop. Yesung responded to those pleads by punching harder. Every part of Ryeowooks body hurt. He couldn’t move. Yesung moved away turning his back on him. Ryeowook sighed allowing his eyes to close. This was the shortest beating he had gotten.

His eyes flashed open when he heard the sound of chains. In a quick flash Yesung had him standing up pinned against the wall. Two loud clicks echoed around the room. His eyes widened in horror. Sure enough Yesung had chained him to the wall. He had always wondered what those metal loops were for. Ryeowook felt sick. He watched Yesung intently. What was he going to do to him?

“Yesung, Yesung please let me down”

His voice was shaky and weak. Yesung slapped him hard against the face. He could taste blood in his mouth. Tears streaked constantly down his face. This wasn’t the Yesung he loved. The one he loved would never hurt him like this. Ryeowooks eyes widened when he caught sight of something silver in Yesungs hands.

“No Yesung No!!”

Ryeowook shifted in his position. He yanked at the chains but all it succeeded was putting strain on his shoulder. He tried to kick but his legs were two weak.
“No Yesung! Please!!”

How could he do this? How could he escape this hell? Yesung stood in front of him. An amused smile smeared itself across Yesungs lips. Ryeowook looked at him through tear filled eyes. He pleaded and pleaded for him to stop. Yesung touched his cheek with his free hand. The touch was so soft, so warm. It didn’t fit in with what was happening. Ryeowook believed that he had come to his senses. He was proved wrong when he felt a hot sting against his stomach.

He foot came up as a reflex hitting Yesung in his most sensitive spot. Red steams of tears dripped from the cut on his stomach. Yesung was up in a flash. Eyes flashing red. He pulled two chains out of his pocket. Ryeowook struggled. He kicked. It was all no use. Yesung had him trapped. His two legs were pulled apart and chained to the wall.

“Yesun…”

“SHUT UP!”

Ryeowook was scared. The way Yesung held the knife. The way Yesung looked at him. It was like he was going to kill him. That’s what Ryeowook feared the most, that he would be dead and never see his friends away. He let out a scream when the blade was pressed against his skin lightly before it dug deeply into his arm dragging more ruby tears out. His stomach felt hot as if it was on fire. Yesung didn’t swap. It was one cut after the other. Each one drawing a cry from Ryeowook.

It hurt. Countless tears fell from his eyes. How could the love of his life torture him so much? Ryeowook barely registered when Yesung stopped slicing him up into pieces. All he could see were splashes of his blood everywhere. Yesungs hand was completely covered in it. Why he wanted to ask but he was too scared it would just start it all over again.

He didn’t speak. He didn’t make a noise. If he was quiet maybe Yesung would leave him alone. He couldn’t stop the tears that fell mingling with his freshly spilled blood. It made his stomach churn when he saw Yesung licking the blood off the blade. He looked more like a demon then a human. The ruby red colour coated his lips. Forcefully he pressed his lips against Ryeowooks. It was a struggled to not taste his blood on Yesungs lips.

That smirk just made he want to throw up. Yesung made him sick. He wanted nothing more to do with him.

“Now you only belong to me”

Yesung left the room leaving Ryeowook just hanging there chained to the wall. When he looked hard at his cut up stomach he realised what Yesung meant. At first he thought Yesung was cutting him randomly but he was wrong. There carved onto his stomach in fresh blood red line ‘YESUNG’. He marked him. If Ryeowook wasn’t so physically drained he would have been seriously pissed off. Even the thought of escaping sounded so tiring.

He couldn’t stay here though. Ryeowook pulled and pulled at the chains on his arms. Something did go ‘pop’ but it wasn’t the chains. He had just dislocated both of his shoulders. His scream echoed thought out the whole room. His body slumped forward. If only he could black out. If only he could leave the pain and fade into the sweet blackness. No instead his present from the powers above was Yesung re-entering the room.

Yesung surveyed the room. Nope it didn’t seem like he had tried to escape. Why was he slouching like that though? For a second he felt bad for what he had just done. No it needed to be done he told himself. Ryeowook needed to be punished. Just the thought of Ryeowook being with another man set his blood on fire. Rage took over him as he stalked over to Ryeowook.
