Chapter eight: Birthing class 2
“Hey, you made it!” Changmin's face was radiating with a smile. “Does that mean you told him?”
Junsu frowned at the question directed to Yoochun. “Told me what?” he asked.
Yoochun decided to ignore him. “Yeah, I told him.”
“Does it mean you're going to be a happy family?” Changmin asked.
“He's still kind of mad I didn't tell him from the beginning, but he'll be fine,” Yoochun shrugged.
“Wait...you told him? You don't even know him!” Junsu squeaked.
“Pshh,” Yoochun scoffed. “Changmin's my best friend.”
“Yeah, why are you being so mean?” Changmin frowned.
“No...you guys just met last week...”
“We're not all socially challenged , Junsu,” Yoochun rolled his eyes. “Some of us can make friends just fine-” He stopped talking when he saw his best friend and his best friend's fiancé walking into the room filled with preggo's.
“What are you doing here?” Yoochun beamed at them. Junsu was just getting more confused by the second
“Tell them, Jaejoong,” Yunho said crossing his arms in front of his chest. “Tell them why we're here.”
Jaejoong rolled his eyes at his soon to be husband. “Our reason is legit, okay? There's nothing wrong with wanting to be prepared.”
“I second that,” Changmin said.
“Who are you?” Yunho frowned.
“I'm the midwife.”
“Husband,” Yoochun corrected.
“Whatever,” Changmin smiled. “Let's start class, shall we?”
Everyone went to find a spot on the floor and Changmin went to stand at the head of the room so that everyone could see him clearly.
“So last week I think we were still at the stretching-”
Yoochun's hand shot up in the air.
“Yeah, Yoochun?”
“My ankles hurt. And they're swollen,” Yoochun answered. “I'm thinking there's an exercise for that.”
“Well,”Changmin said thoughtfully. “Not so much an exercise, but a foot massage could help. Anyway...”
“Did you hear that?” Yoochun smiled at Junsu. “Foot massage.”
“I'm not doing it. I'm still mad at you for telling Changmin before you even told me,” Junsu frowned.
“But Yunho's doing it! And Jaejoong isn't even pregnant!” Yoochun looked at him, sad face and all.
“No. Let your new friend Changmin do it,” Junsu said and crossed his arms in front of his chest, making Yoochun move away a little.
“You know,” Yoochun began slowly. “It's your fault I can't sleep at night.”
“Pshh,” Junsu scoffed. “I'm not falling for that.”
“If you were expecting a confession, then to bad,” Yoochun glared. “This kid keeps kicking me all night and guess who those soccer player genes belong to? It sure as hell ain't me.”
Junsu was dazed for a second. “We're having a soccer player?”
“We are...if you give me a foot massage,” Yoochun smiled sweetly.
“Keep your soccer player then.”
Yoochun huffed in annoyance and tried to reach his own ankles...but failed miserably.
Bathtub scenes replayed in Junsu's head; Yoochun not being able lift his leg, Junsu trying to help him, them ending up having bathtubsex....He sighed and grabbed Yoochun's arm. “Fine, I'll do it.”
“What made you change your mind?”
“Me being a good person,”Junsu threw back at him harshly and grabbed for Yoochun's foot, but he moved away.
“If you're going to be aggressive, then don't even bother,” Yoochun glared at him. “I'll just have sore ankles. What do you care?” He scooted away and turned his back to him, strategically drooping his shoulders forward, knowing the kind of effect it gave the sight. Yoochun wasn't surprised when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“Of course I care...”
“Whatever,” Yoochun murmured and moved away another bit. Just a bit more and he'd hit a wall.
“Can I help with anything?” Changmin suddenly popped out of nowhere.
“No, thanks-” Junsu started but lost every train of thought when Yoochun stood up and dashed out of the room. Before he could react Jaejoong and Yunho had followed him.
“Nice going,” Changmin rolled his eyes and went back to his pregnant-daddy class.
“I didn't do anything,”Junsu murmured softly and followed the others out of the room. He found Yunho leaning against a wall outside, staring at his phone.
“He's fine. Mood swings,” Yunho said when he noticed Junsu staring at him from a distance.
“Mood...”
“Swings, yeah. You know what those are, right?”
“What? Of course...”
“Well, I had to explain it to Jaejoong 33 times, so I'm just being sure,” Yunho smiled. “They're in the bathroom over there. I need to make a call.”
Junsu stared at Yunho for a couple of seconds more and then turned around to enter the bathroom he was pointing at.
When he entered he found Jaejoong fixing his hair in front of the mirror and Yoochun was wiping his nose and dried what must have been tears from his face.
“Where you crying?” Junsu asked .
“Yeah...but whatever,” Yoochun shrugged and looked away.
“Don't do this to me, Yoochun...”Junsu groaned. “We weren't like this when we used to be together.”
“I wasn't pregnant then,” he glared and grabbed Jaejoong's by his arm, ready to leave.
But being the faster one Junsu had grabbed Jaejoong's arm before they could even move.
“Hey...”Jaejoong weakly objected.
“What are you doing?” Yoochun frowned.
“I'm not letting you leave until you stop being... a total bitch.”
Yoochun's eyes widened, Jaejoong's jaw dropped and Junsu thought that if there was a good moment to faint, this would be it.
“You...” Yoochun hissed.
“Chun...You're kind of hurting me,” Jaejoong peeped.
“Take it back!” Yoochun yelled, but Junsu stood his ground.
“I can take the mood swings and all, but you can't just walk away like that! I'm the father of your child remember?”
“You guys...” Jaejoong tried again.
“You're the bitch,” Yoochun bit at him. “And you're not even pregnant!”
“Okay, I'm just going to take back my arms before you guys break them...” Jaejoong said and slipped away as quickly as he could, leaving the two in the bathroom alone.
