“No, Yunho, I swear it wasn’t like that…”
“…”
“I know…”
“…”
“I’m sorry.”
“…”
“I love you too.”
“…”
“So…you’re living with him now?”
“…”
“Okay. Be safe. I’m sorry.”
Yoochun was sitting across from Jaejoong, shaking his head. “You cheat on him and he tells you he loves you?”
Jaejoong bit his lip and looked down at the table. “I think I’m breaking up with him when he gets back.”
Yoochun sighed. “I can’t believe you. First you pressure him into having sex, take his virginity, then you tell him he can’t see his best friend any more, then you cheat on him and now you’re breaking up with him? Please tell me why he deserved this.”
“He doesn’t deserve this. He deserves so much better, but I can’t give him that, okay? Things changed over the summer.”
“Then why did you tell him you loved him?”
“Because he said he loved me! What was I supposed to say? Thank you and hang up?” He stood up and put their plates in the sink before sitting back down. “I really liked him-”
“Enough to make him choose between you and Heechul.”
“Actually… I kind of hoped he’d break up with me.”
“Then why, why did you have sex with him if you knew it was over?” Yoochun asked, disbelieve coming out clearly in his voice.
“Because I thought maybe if we had sex It’d come back. I’d fall in love again and we’d be happy again. In the end it just made things worse.”
Yoochun groaned and rubbed his temples. “I don’t know what to tell you.”
“I’m home~” Junsu sang, right after they heard the front door open and close. He entered the kitchen, wearing sweats and a T-shirt that was drenched in sweat.
“I’m going to take a shower
“Where were you?” Yoochun asked, before Junsu could take his leave.
“Running with Shirley. We met Changmin down the street. They went to do groceries before coming back.”
“Together?” Jaejoong asked surprised.
Junsu nodded and left. Yoochun followed him into the bathroom and sat down on the edge of the bathtub as Junsu got undressed and threw his sweaty clothes into a hamper.
“What time did you get up this morning?” Yoochun asked.
“Around nine. Why?” Junsu turned on the shower and stepped under it.
Yoochun had to raise his voice a bit. “I thought you ran away, so you wouldn’t have to talk about last night.”
Junsu didn’t answer and Yoochun guessed he was right. It wasn’t even noon yet and here he was, about to have a second frustrating conversation that day.
“You called me a whore yesterday,” he finally said.
“I was hoping you may have been drunk and wouldn’t remember that,”Junsu sighed. “I admit I was jealous. It was stupid to take it out on you and I’m sorry.”
“That sounded rehearsed.”
“Shirley told me to say it like that…”
“Do you mean it?”
“Of course.”
“Don’t rub you-”
“Ah!”
“-eye. Idiot.” Yoochun sighed and pushed himself off of the tub and grabbed a towel that was draped over the side of it. “Didn’t your mother ever teach you to shower alone? You’re not supposed to rub your eyes when there’s soap on your hands and shampoo in your hair…Here.” He handed Junsu the towel and got his hand and underarm wet.
“It hurts!” Junsu whined and stepped out a bit and rubbed his face with the towel. “It’s your fault. You were distracting me-”
“Everything is just my fault isn’t it?” Yoochun muttered before taking a step back and sitting down on the egde of the bathtub again.
“Where did you go?” Junsu asked, his face still buried in the towel.
“I’m here. But I think I’ll wait for you out-”
“Did you take your shower already? Get undressed, let’s save Shirley’s water~”
Yoochun should have said no. Should have proven right there that he wasn’t easy like Junsu had called him the night before. He should have, but he didn’t. Instead, he took of his clothes and joined him in the small shower.
“You’ve standing under water for minutes now and you still smell like sweat,”Yoochun chuckled and squirted a load of soap onto Junsu’s chest.
“We ran a lot.. Shirley is fast, you know? She could go for miles and not get tired.”
“I bet her boyfriends are happy to hear that.”
“…Ew.”
“You started it.”
“You made it into something about Shirley’s sexlife!”
“Stop talking about Shirley’s sexlife!” Jaejoong screamed from outside of the bathroom as he passed.
“Don’t break up with your boyfriend!” Yoochun yelled back.
“What?” Junsu frowned. “Who’s breaking up with who now?”
Yoochun sighed and leaned back against the wall, out of the showerhead’s reach. “Jaejoong is breaking up with Yunho when he comes back. I’m not talking about that anymore so don’t ask me.”
“I’m confused.”
“And what do we do when we’re confused?” Yoochun smirked.
“Get on our knees?” Junsu guessed, knowing very well what that glint in Yoochun’s eyes meant.
Yoochun cocked up and eyebrow and Junsu rolled his eyes, before getting down on his knees. “We better be good after this.”
“Don’t act like this is some terrible thing I made you do. You enjoy it, just as much as I do. Okay, maybe not just as much, but- Argh, whatever just suck it.”
And Junsu did.
“Can we make rice cakes tonight?”
“Sure.”
“And Kimchi jiggae?”
“Okay.”
“And-”
“No, that’s enough for tonight.”
“But I want crab too.”
“Then go ask your mom to make you crab. I’m not making it tonight.”
“Tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow is fine.”
Jaejoong stared at Shirley and Changmin who were unpacking the groceries in disgust. “Who are you people?”
“What’s your problem, Jennifer? You look constipated,” Shirley said, glancing into Jaejoong’s direction for about a second, before continuing unpacking the food.
“Jaejoong’s jealous, Shirley. He can’t handle it, not being your favourite anymore,” Changmin smirked.
“I don’t pick favourites,”Shirley said. “I pick slaves.”
“I bet I’d be a better slave than Jaejoong,” Changmin muttered, but Jaejoong heard him.
“You would not! You’d die before you could polish all of Shirley’s military medailles and colour coördinate all of her militairy clothes, which is really hard and there are more shades of green than you think!”
“…Jennifer, I think you’ve lost it.”
“I’m going back to bed,” Jaejoong sighed and left Shirley and Changmin alone in the kitchen. As he walked past the bathroom he heard something fall over followed by giggles and voices bickering. He missed his soon to be ex-boyfriend and he missed his ex-bestfriend.
Wondering if Heechul would ever talk to him again, he fell asleep and didn't wake up until diner time. Shirley had made crab too.
