parts of me given away
shared ... forsaken ...relinquished

surrendered ...snatched ...seduced
the gaping gaps in my soul
crying for a reunion with
all those parts of me
lost in..people.. places.. moments
was i rendered poorer or richer
as i left traces of me
in lives i touched
spaces i filled
times i lived
Mendicant's bowl
or brimming chalice?
Moment to moment
the emotions,rock and roll
leaving in their wake
a smile or a tear
Proclaiming
the heart is still alive
the soul stirring
towards perfection
