Net Friends...
Over the years i have grown to believe that NOTHING is by chance...all the people and situations in your life are there for a purpose.Before computers came to be a daily part of our lives we met people in the real world thru non virtual avenues.. but the cyber world is here to rule our lives how can destiny not update herself too??
I have some beautiful and some absolutely disappointing encounters on the internet.Lonliness and a keen interest in people of the world made me log onto chat sites and meet people of varied colours and creed.Mostly moved on.. some i said goodbye to coz our agendas didnt match( u know the typical asl kinds..smile)then there are some who have come to mean more to me then the people in my real life.I even gained a virtual brother who pulls me up when ever he sees me riding the Depression wagon.. who encourages me to cash in on my writing talent(?)
The most hilarious encounter i have had to far..there was this guy from Pune we seemed to enjoy chatting.. there was lots of common interest and since we were the same age group..we had lots to talk.He sent me his picture ..i was wary of sending mine having heard of the wicked ways of the net world.One day at a local bank i recognized this friend he was accompanied by his wife.. was so amusing observing without the person knowing..he brushed past me without a clue about my identity.Had to abruptly end that friendship coz of the I love you overtones.
There is one person i will NEVER forget.. the most guile most malicious, possesive, envious,and selfish person i have every met.. a man.. and a gossipy one at that.. he almost ruined a wonderful relationship i shared with a special someone.Well Cheers to you Fishy you taught me some valuable lessons in life.
Now i dont chat i dont enter chat rooms.. have got few genuine precious intellectual sensitive caring fun loving friends who fill my world with happiness and smiles.who make me realize i have the worth to be loved to be appreciated simply for who i am .I have no demands to meet, no conditions to fulfill ,no dictates to follow.Thank you dear friends for coming into my life.. for being there for me and for not expecting me to be any less or any more than I aM.Truly bLESSED to have you all in my life.
